And now a random fact about Mr. T.

I pity the fool who don't click on that link.

How much wood, would a woodchuck chuck, if he was being pitied by Mr. T?

It was Mr. T of the A-Team who inspired me as a young boy to tell my mom I would never smoke or drink! Ha. I hope he doesn't read this and come after me. On second thought, tell him to come on and I bet I could kick his old, sagging Mr. T butt.

Seriously, Ed, I remember the first time I saw the Mr. T. cartoon and the real-life Mr. T. came on screen at the end of the story.  He said (and I quote):  "Remember kids, it's not nice to take drugs."  That was the best he could do?  "It's not nice"?

Did they have planning meetings about this?  "Now gentlemen, what can we have Mr. T.  tell the youth of America this week that will ensure that they avoid the peril of drugs?"  "I've got it!  IT'S NOT NICE!"  Brilliant.

See, if only Nancy Reagan had said "It's not nice to take drugs" instead of "just say no," there would be no drug problem anyway.

I don't know:  do you think Nancy would have needed a Mohawk to make the message stick?

I just remember the scene in Pee Wee's Big Adventure:  "I pity the fool that don't eat my cereal!"

HA!  I can also remember the theme song for the cartoon "Mr. T," which starts "Mih-ster TEE!" and where he runs around randomly encountering and vanquishing evil with a bunch of circus-performer children...or trapeze artists, or some kind of child-entertainer group.
